WHAT A BIG ONE // REFLECTING ON 2014

Hello,

I have had a massive break from blogging. I have had a lot of work with school as well as out of school activities. Since I have moved up to one of my GCSE years in school now, a lot of pressure has been put on our backs as well as a lot more work. It has been hard to have the time to take pictures, sit down and then write blog posts. This is something I want to get back into. In the uk, daylight saving has come upon us and has made it very hard to take pictures when I get in from school as the light has faded by 4 o'clock. At the weekends when I actually get time to sit and relax, I don't do that as I have more and more homework as well as seeing my friends out of school. Anxiety levels have run high and I have been stressed the last few weeks before breaking up for the christmas holidays. My friend kindly remembered me that I only have 3 days left off and then I go back to the dreaded place. This makes my heart drop because I know that I still have to do homework which has just piled up and what I should of really done at the start of the holidays, but no. I had to leave it until the last few days of the holidays. What I really want to be doing right now is being tucked up in bed, watching Youtube and Netflix with a massive chocolate bar by the side of me, but I can't.

Today is the 1st of January 2015 and everybody lets the 'New year, New me' statement out. Which really means, this healthy eating and new gym lifestyle is going to only last for a week tops. What i want to achieve this year, is to keep writing blog posts and enjoy myself. I want to set a goal of getting 500 readers. I know this isn't a lot but I would like to achieve this and be happy with myself. Looking into the future, I am hoping to save up for a better camera to take my blog posts with and to maybe record a few youtube videos. Also, get some lighting equipment so I can take photos in the dark. This will work better in the lifestyle I have at the moment.

Another thing for the new year that many people say, is to be a better person. 2014 has had many ups and downs for me. Friendship fall outs, anxiety but mainly having a great year. I have created so many good memories as well as making so many new friends. I also met Andy Jordan! (MiC) I have been able to achieve a lot more in the subjects I love this year as I have had the opportunity to drop the subjects I don't enjoy. This has been better as I can concentrate on my most loved subjects and not my loathed ones. Also, I have been able to get my head down because in the some of the subjects you are in now, the people with you there want to be there. For example art. Many students in my old class took it as a 'mess around' lesson. Most of the time everybody in the class used to come out of the lesson covered head to toe in paint! I took art as one of my GCSE options and I am enjoying it a lot.

One of the things that have changed the appearance of this blog. I had started to not like the title 'KitheQueen' so I thought I would have a remix and make this site more mature. I have gone for the classic white and black theme as I think this stands out. I hope no one is disappointed.

This post has become longer than I expected. oops.

Thank you for being a good year 2014, I hope 2015 is a better one! I hope you enjoyed this and I will see you next time, remember to click the follow button so you can be updated when I publish a blog post. It would mean a lot to me if you were to click that button so I can try and meet my 500 readers wish. Here are some of my favourite photos of this year.

Ciara x
